Recognizing people for a job well done or the value they add is NOT too touchy-feely. High morale and productivity feed on it.
I’ve seen the results of a Culture of Candor and a Culture of Slander. Slander killed productivity. Candor assured it. Go Candor!
If you build it, will they come? Maybe. But, if you let them HELP you build it, absolutely. And they’ll bring others to show them.
You can fail by NOT doing anything but you can’t succeed with that strategy. What would be good to do? Begin.
If ALL of your dreams come true, who will be smiling other than you? WE-dreams are WAY better than ME-dreams. Sweet dreams.

If a common practice feels wrong, it may be time for an uncommon one that feels right to make things even better. Trust your gut.
