“Ambassador of FUN

Tony Brigmon
The Former Face of Southwest Airlines Golden Era Culture as their Official
“Ambassador of FUN

One of the First to Pioneer the Positive Culture Movement in Corporate America

  • Why Tony?
    • 4 Decades Sharing Southwest’s Golden Era Best Practices on Positivity & Performance
    • Top 10 Speaker – Meetings & Conventions Magazine
    • Author of The FUNomenal™ Workplace
    • Presentations That Are: Fun, High-energy, Interactive, and Content-rich.

Important Note: The leadership principles and FUN culture insights Tony shares are rooted in this golden era of Southwest’s history. While these timeless principles drove extraordinary results during the 1980s, they reflect that specific period and Tony’s experiences as Ambassador of FUN at that time.

Tony does not represent Southwest Airlines’ current policies, culture, or direction, and any views expressed are based solely on his historical experience during Southwest’s award-winning years.

What You See Is What You Get

Tony Brigmon: The FUNomenal™ Workplace Experience

Serious Fun. Serious Results: It Begins with the 3 C’s

“People find you irresistibly attractive when you make it all about them. And it’s easy when you know how to use the 3 C‘s: Communicate to Energize, Connect to Engage, and Cultivate to Enrich. Some great teachers taught me how to do this. I can teach you. It’s what I do. The more I get to share, the more alive I become—and that energy creates a more FUNomenal outcome for you and your team!” ~ Tony Brigmon

Tony SpearHeaded “Fun”…

…as their official “Ambassador of FUN,” delivering customer care and employee development programs. He teaches organizations how fun translates into serious results with their customers and employees, based on the best practices that helped Southwest Airlines achieve industry-leading recognition.

The Southwest Airlines Success Story: A Legacy of Excellence

During Tony’s tenure as Southwest Airlines’ official Ambassador of FUN in the 1980s, the airline soared to unprecedented heights as the #1 domestic boarding carrier and earned the coveted “Triple Crown” Award for Excellence for 5 consecutive years — a feat industry experts compared to “an NFL team winning the Super Bowl five years running.”

This remarkable achievement recognized Southwest’s dominance in:

  • Best on-time performance
  • Best baggage handling
  • Highest customer satisfaction (fewest complaints among major airlines)

Tony’s Expertise and Recognition: Your Partner for Performance

Tony Brigmon is in high demand for his experience and expertise, drawing on Southwest Airlines’ best practices that repeatedly made them #1. Today, Tony mixes these best practices from a #1 company with his signature fun, high-energy, dynamic, and interactive presentation style to energize audiences to be their best.

He was one of only ten speakers featured by Meetings and Conventions Magazine in an article entitled: “Most Wanted – Hottest Speakers On the Circuit Right Now!” Tony has written and published over forty-five stress management and motivation songs, using them in meetings to energize, engage, and enrich.

He has received over 600 letters of commendation or recommendation from executives of major corporations around the world, including Southwest Airlines, Shell, Sprint, Tesoro, GVTV, First Bank, Lockheed, USAL, Ryland Homes, and others.

What You Can Expect in the “Tony Zone”

“I’ve seen Tony interact with people as a speaker, as a member of a group, and on an individual coaching basis. In all of these environments, Tony creates a positive, supportive and encouraging ‘zone’ around him. Once you enter that zone, you know that three things are going to happen:

First, you are going to have fun. Second, you are going to see things in a new and more positive way. And third, you are going to walk away feeling a whole lot better about who you are and what you can accomplish.”
