Hope without Work doesn’t work. But, if you work your Hope, it almost always works out.
Fear: ‘It may not go well.’ Hope: ‘It may not but what if it DID and exceeded ALL expectations.’ That’s how Hope calms Fear? Yep.
Making a commitment builds Hope. Keeping a commitment builds Trust. Not keeping it destroys BOTH. Make one you can keep. KEEP it!
If you let Hope die, so do you. Oh, you may still be technically alive but you’ll have clear symptoms of being dead.
Your Three Amigos: GRATITUDE for the positives. HOPE for the negatives. ACTION for the impressions that feel right.
Never give up Hope. Worst case: No change in them for the better. No change in you for the worse. Best case: ALL better.
